	As a member of South Lindsay, there are ample ministry opportunities to keep your hands busy. We offer activities designed to help you grow spiritually, physically and socially. Whether you're looking to make new friends, to serve the Lord by serving others or just to have a good time, we've got something for you!
	Music and Worship Ministry The Music and Worship Ministry of South Lindsay Baptist Church is a vital part of the life of our church.  Vibrant, God-centered worship services are at the heart of our ministry.  A blend of contemporary styles and traditional hymns make up our worship experience each week.  Our goal is to provide a balance that will encompass every age,  taste, style, or desire.  But, above all, our purpose is to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through exalting Him through music.  Both adults and teenagers join together for our Sanctuary Choir.  This approach has been good both for our adults and teens.  This choir leads our congregation in worship each week and provides great choral selections for each service.  Special musicals are presented at various times of the year such as at Christmas and Easter.  Choir rehearsal is held each Sunday afternoon at 4:30 in the choir room.  All interested in praising God through music are invited to attend. A new area of ministry for South Lindsay is the Senior Adult Choir ,"Joyful Sound".  Anyone 55 years of age or older is invited to this group.  The purpose for this choir is one of ministry and fellowship.  This group meets at 1:30 on Wednesday afternoons in the choir room.  The choir will prepare music to be sung in our worship services as well as nursing homes and other related ministry opportunities.  This is a great opportunity for these people to fellowship one with the other.  It also provides an opportunity to go out together to do ministry to those who are confined to their homes or nursing homes.  The Psalms continue to tell us to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”  These senior saints do just that.  Come give it a try. Children’s Choir, for all children Kindergarten through 6 grade, meets on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 in Fellowship Hall.  Right now, this group is preparing a Christmas Musical to be presented in December.  We are looking for all interested children who would like to be a part of this special project.  For more information, please contact  the church office 631-8681
	Evangelism Ministry South Lindsay is a giving church, so we share what we have to assist those who are less fortunate. We love to share the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, with those who have yet to hear it, and desire to create opportunities for all ages to grow stronger in their Christian walk.
	Children's Ministry The Children's Ministry has age-graded Sunday School classes at 9:00 a.m. for newborn up through 6th grade. Throughout the year we schedule Special Events. For Preschoolers, these include: Parent/Child Dedication Parent's Night Out Vacation Bible School

	Single's Ministry South Lindsay has an active and exciting fellowship of Single Adults. We have a place for single adults from every walk of life, whether divorced, widowed or never married; we have a place for you.
	Women's Ministry In the fast-pace of everyday life there seems to be little time for fellowship and friendships with other Christian women but never underestimate the benefit of godly friendships. The list of benefits is long - encouragement, accountability, "laugh therapy," godly counsel, prayer support, people to balance our weaknesses - and the list goes on. In short, women who care about YOU! South Lindsay Women's Ministry has something for everyone. We invite you to join your heart and life with other ladies just like you as we seek to live the life God has planned for us!
	Men's Ministry It’s tough being a man … … but at South Lindsay, we have a Men’s Ministry that can help. We have weekly prayer breakfasts, accountability partners, fellowship, and ministry opportunities. South Lindsay helps men make a difference by serving others. 	Senior Adult Ministry South Lindsay Senior Adult Ministries We provide small group Bible studies for all ages of senior adults every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. These groups not only provide life application Bible teaching, but also fellowship with other believers and an opportunity to make new friendships and minister to the personal needs of members. Also, the Young at Heart group meet at 10:00 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of the month in the Fellowship Hall for a time of Bible study, fellowship, singing and sharing prayer requests. In addition, many special events are planned during the year including several day trips to area points of interest.. Pastoral Care Ministries The pastoral care ministry meets the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our members and their family and friends through personal contact of our staff and volunteers. The ministry includes hospital visitation, home visits and personal visits at times of bereavement and other crisis. Another aspect of the ministry is visitation in area nursing homes.
